Srinagar, Dec 20: A 14-day Residential Yogasana Sports Coaching Camp for Sub Junior Boys & Girls is presently underway at the Yogasana Hall, Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar, in preparation for the 6th Sub Junior Boys & Girls National Yogasana Sports Championship 2025–26, scheduled to be held at Drue Global School, Sangamner, Maharashtra.
The camp, which commenced on 11th December 2025, is being organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association & sponsored by the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council. The initiative aims to enhance technical skills, physical conditioning & competitive readiness of the selected athletes.
Renowned Yogasana coaches Mr. Shabir Ahmad Dar, Mr. Bilal Ahmad Dar & Miss Showkeya Qadir of the J&K Sports Council & J&K Yogasana Sports Association are imparting specialized training to the campers. A total of 21 Yogasana athletes from across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir are participating in the camp.
The coaching camp will conclude on 24th December 2025. General Secretary Mr. Shakir Riyaz & President Mr. Feroze Ahmad Rather expressed gratitude to the Secretary, J&K Sports Council, for providing essential logistical support for the smooth conduct of the camp.
