
As part of the nationwide Rozgar Mela programme for distribution of appointment letters to newly recruited youth, a Rozgar Mela was organised today at the Border Security Force (BSF) Frontier Headquarters, Kashmir. The event formed part of the eighteenth tranche of Rozgar Mela being held simultaneously at 40 locations across the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the newly appointed candidates through virtual mode, reiterating the Government of India’s commitment to employment generation through transparent, swift and merit-based recruitment processes.
During the Rozgar Mela, appointment letters were distributed to 100 selected Constable (GD) candidates of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). At the national level, over 61,000 appointment letters were distributed across various Ministries and Departments as part of the initiative.
The Rozgar Mela aims to provide meaningful employment opportunities to youth while strengthening institutional recruitment mechanisms in the Central Government. The programme also underscores the Government’s focus on capacity building and service delivery through a young and motivated workforce.
The event witnessed participation of officials from concerned departments, representatives of recruiting agencies, and newly appointed candidates. Family members of the selected candidates appreciated the Government’s efforts towards employment generation and transparent recruitment.
