
Kohima, Nagaland, Sep 10: Assam Rifles organised an enlightening orientation session on the theme “Rubaru Mera Wajood” for the families of Kohima Garrison, held at Kenguruse Auditorium and conducted via video conference. The interactive programme was chaired by Mrs. Vibha Lakhera, President of the Assam Rifles Wives Welfare Association (ARWWA).
The initiative is part of Assam Rifles’ ongoing efforts to promote emotional well-being, self-empowerment, and community engagement among the families of its personnel. The session focused on encouraging self-awareness, fostering a sense of identity and purpose, and strengthening family and social bonds within the garrison community.
Mrs. Lakhera, in her address, emphasized the critical role families play in maintaining the morale and strength of the force. She praised the resilience and contributions of spouses and family members, encouraging them to explore their individual potential and find fulfillment through personal growth and active participation in community life.
The programme also included interactive discussions and motivational sessions, offering a platform for participants to share their experiences, voice concerns, and learn from one another.
