Schools in the border areas of Karnah, located near the Line of Control (LoC), reopened on Monday after being shut for two weeks due to recent heavy shelling. The reopening of educational institutions brought a sense of relief to both parents and students, sparking a wave of happiness with the resumption of academic activities in the region.
On Monday morning, students arrived at their schools with excitement and enthusiasm, where they were warmly welcomed by their teachers. To mark the occasion, special assemblies were held in several schools, during which safety measures were highlighted and students were motivated to continue their studies with resilience.
It is worth mentioning that all educational institutions in Karnah were closed due to safety concerns following the intense shelling. Although the Department of Education had issued a circular four days ago instructing teachers to ensure their presence in schools, teaching activities could not resume until today.
With the formal reopening of schools, the education system is now back on track. Parents have welcomed the decision of the administration and expressed hope that effective strategies will be adopted in the future to prevent disruptions in education during times of conflict.
Local residents emphasized that continuing education despite border tensions is crucial for the better future of the children in the region, highlighting the importance of uninterrupted learning even in challenging circumstances.
