Jammu, Feb 11: Security forces on Wednesday launched a cordon-and-search operation in Doda district following reports of suspicious movement of three individuals.

Joint teams of the Special Operations Group and Rashtriya Rifles conducted searches in Katasoo and Donadi areas of Thathri. Officials said no contact had been established so far.
Meanwhile, DIG Shridhar Patil chaired a security review meeting to strengthen safety measures at tourist destinations across the Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban range amid rising tourist footfall. The meeting focused on strict implementation of SOPs, enhanced surveillance and updated contingency plans.
