
Kohima, Jan 31: Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Spear Corps, conducted the Flag-in Ceremony of the Seema Darshan Tour on January 30, 2026, at Tuensang in Nagaland, marking the successful completion of an educational and national integration initiative for students and teachers from the Changlangshu area of Nagaland.
As part of the tour, the participants visited Kibithu and Kaho in Arunachal Pradesh, recognized as the easternmost inhabited villages of India. The visit provided the students and teachers with first-hand exposure to life in remote border areas and a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by local communities and security forces deployed in frontier regions.
During the tour, participants interacted with personnel of Assam Rifles and other agencies, gaining insights into border management, national security, and the role of the armed forces in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty. The experience also fostered a sense of patriotism, unity, and appreciation for the diverse cultural and geographical landscape of the country.
