‘Shaam-e-Shafqat’ festival showcases India’s cultural unity in Pattan

In a vibrant tribute to India’s rich cultural legacy, “Shaam-e-Shafqat”, a grand cultural festival, was held at Zorawar Hall, Pattan, on Tuesday. The event was jointly organized by the North Zone Cultural Centre, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Indian Army. Bringing together the artistic essence of India, the festival featured renowned folk artists from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Assam, Rajasthan, and Kashmir, who delivered mesmerizing performances showcasing the nation’s diverse cultural traditions. The day-long celebration offered audiences a colourful spectacle of folk dances, traditional music, and regional art forms, beautifully portraying the depth and diversity of India’s heritage.
