Spear Corps celebrates Arunachal Statehood Day

Arunachal Pradesh, Feb 20: Dao Division under Spear Corps celebrated the 40th Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh with a series of engaging activities across the state, reflecting the spirit of unity, resilience, and strong civil-military cooperation.

The celebrations included challenging adventure treks from Dichu to Dong and Kundao Tso, designed to foster endurance, teamwork, and appreciation of the region’s natural landscapes. Schoolchildren participated in a 40 km bicycle rally from Bruni to Dembuen through the scenic Dri Valley, promoting physical fitness, environmental awareness, and youth engagement.
At Walong, outreach and sporting events were organized, providing a platform for interaction between military personnel and local communities. These events featured competitions, skill-based activities, and cultural interactions, strengthening trust and camaraderie between the Armed Forces and residents.
The initiative highlighted Dao Division’s commitment to community development, youth empowerment, and national integration, while celebrating Arunachal Pradesh’s unique heritage and strategic significance. Through adventure, sports, and outreach, the celebrations reinforced the enduring bond between the Army and the people of the state.
The 40th Statehood Day festivities served not only as a commemoration of Arunachal Pradesh’s journey over four decades but also as a symbol of collaboration, resilience, and shared aspirations for progress and harmony in the region.
