Dimapur, Dec 8: Dao Division, operating under the aegis of the Indian Army’s SpearCorps, successfully conducted an integrated day and night live-firing exercise at the BFFR range, showcasing the unit’s operational readiness and combat proficiency.

The exercise involved coordinated drills between multiple artillery units, which carried out validations on Night Gun Equipment (NGE), tested newly introduced Tactical Training Procedures (TTPs), and executed a series of training drills to hone both technical and tactical skills.
Officials highlighted that the exercise not only reinforced the troops’ capability to operate effectively under varying conditions but also provided critical hands-on experience in handling advanced artillery systems during both day and night operations.
Observers noted the meticulous planning, seamless coordination, and disciplined execution demonstrated by all participating units, reflecting the high standards of professionalism and preparedness maintained by Spear Corps. The exercise also served as a platform to evaluate and refine strategies, ensuring that operational effectiveness remains uncompromised in real-world scenarios.
