Zokhawsang,: AssamRifles units under SpearCorps recently organized a structured interaction with ex-servicemen at Zokhawsang, aiming to strengthen ties with retired defence personnel and address their concerns.

The event brought together ex-servicemen from different regiments and localities, providing a platform for dialogue with senior officers of the AssamRifles. Discussions focused on welfare measures, pension-related issues, healthcare facilities, and career opportunities post-retirement.
During the interaction, AssamRifles officials emphasized the importance of the continued engagement of ex-servicemen in community development, security awareness, and mentoring youth in the region. Officers also highlighted initiatives taken by the forces to support retired personnel, including skill development programs, vocational training, and timely grievance redressal mechanisms.
Participants appreciated the opportunity to raise concerns directly with command officials and suggested additional measures to enhance the welfare of ex-servicemen and their families.
