Spear Corps extends greetings on Army Air Defence Raising Day

Kohima, Jan 10Lieutenant General Abhijit S. Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Spear Corps, along with all ranks, extended their heartiest greetings and best wishes to all serving personnel, veterans, and families of the Corps of Army Air Defence on the occasion of its Raising Day.

In his message, Lt Gen Pendharkar lauded the dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of the Army Air Defence personnel, acknowledging their pivotal role in safeguarding the nation’s airspace and strengthening India’s overall defence preparedness. He said the Corps has consistently stood as a critical pillar of national security, ensuring peace and stability even in the most challenging operational environments.
The GOC highlighted that the Corps of Army Air Defence, through its technological expertise, operational vigilance, and combat readiness, has significantly enhanced the Indian Army’s capability to counter evolving aerial threats. From protecting vital installations to supporting field formations during operations, the Corps has demonstrated exceptional skill and resilience.
