Spear Corps extends Magh Bihu greetings

Guwahati, Jan 14: Lieutenant General Abhijit S. Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Spear Corps, along with all ranks, conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Assam on the joyous occasion of Magh Bihu.

In his message, Lt Gen Pendharkar expressed hope that the festival, which marks the harvest season and a time of community celebration, brings happiness, prosperity, and togetherness to all. He highlighted the significance of Magh Bihu in fostering cultural traditions, unity, and social harmony, and encouraged everyone to celebrate safely while cherishing local customs.
All ranks of Spear Corps joined in extending festive cheer, reinforcing their connection with the local communities and reaffirming their commitment to supporting and engaging with the people of Assam. Magh Bihu, also known as Bhogali Bihu, is celebrated with feasts, bonfires, traditional games, and prayers for a bountiful harvest.
