Guwahati, Feb 1: Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, GOC Spear Corps, along with all ranks, conveyed their heartfelt greetings to the people of Assam on the auspicious occasion of Bir Chilarai Divas.

The day commemorates Bir Chilarai, the legendary 16th-century warrior and commander of the Koch dynasty, celebrated for his valor, leadership, and contributions to Assam’s history. Spear Corps officials highlighted the significance of the day in inspiring courage, patriotism, and dedication among present and future generations.
