Anini, April 5: The Dao Division under SpearCorps organized a comprehensive medical camp in Anini, Dibang Valley, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the local population. The initiative, part of the army’s ongoing outreach programs, focused on improving access to medical care in remote and underserved areas of the region.

The camp offered a range of health services, including general health check-ups, consultations with doctors, basic diagnostic tests, and distribution of medicines for common ailments. Army medical teams, in collaboration with local health authorities, ensured that both preventive and curative care were provided to residents of Anini and nearby villages.
Special attention was given to vulnerable groups, including children, elderly citizens, and pregnant women. The camp also conducted awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare practices to empower locals with knowledge for better health management.
The initiative received an enthusiastic response from the community, with hundreds of residents benefiting from the free medical services. The army emphasized its commitment to supporting the well-being of remote communities and reiterated that such camps are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen civil-military cooperation and improve quality of life in Arunachal Pradesh.
Officials highlighted that the medical camp also serves as a platform to identify critical health issues in remote regions, ensuring timely referrals to hospitals for advanced treatment. The Dao Division has pledged to continue such initiatives periodically to bridge gaps in healthcare accessibility for the people of Dibang Valley
