Kamrup, Dec 27: Under the initiative ‘Atoot Bandhan’, troops of the Spear Corps Dao Division engaged with ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, and their families at Mandira Village, Kamrup district, Assam, in a heartfelt effort to honour their contributions and strengthen ties with the veteran community.

The event focused on recognizing the sacrifices of those who served the nation and providing moral support to their families. Soldiers interacted with veterans and Veer Naris, sharing experiences, listening to their concerns, and reaffirming the armed forces’ commitment to their welfare.
Local residents appreciated the initiative, noting that such engagements foster a sense of belonging and respect for the contributions of retired personnel and their families. The program also included discussions on healthcare, social support, and community participation, aiming to ensure veterans remain integrated and supported in their local communities.
