Spear Corps validates rapid deployment exercise

Imphal, Dec 27: Troops of the Dao Division under Spear Corps, in coordination with Assam Rifles and the Indian Air Force, recently conducted a validation exercise to test the seamless induction of forces into remote forward areas.

The exercise focused on enhancing air–ground operational synergy and improving the rapid deployment capability of troops in challenging terrains. It involved coordinated planning, logistics management, and real-time execution to ensure that personnel and equipment could be efficiently moved to critical locations when required.
Officials highlighted that the exercise demonstrated the armed forces’ readiness to respond swiftly to strategic requirements, even in remote and difficult-to-access regions. The collaboration between ground troops, Assam Rifles units, and the Indian Air Force played a key role in ensuring smooth operations and operational preparedness.
The validation also reinforced the importance of joint exercises in building coordination, resilience, and rapid response capabilities, reflecting the Indian military’s focus on maintaining high operational efficiency across all terrains.
