Nagaland & Manipur, Mar 11–12: The AssamRifles and RedShieldDivision under SpearCorps carried out a series of outreach initiatives across Nagaland and Manipur on March 11–12, 2026, focusing on health, wellness, and public awareness.

Key activities included a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Ghaspani, where personnel and local residents participated enthusiastically, contributing to the regional blood bank and promoting community health support.
On World Glaucoma Day, medical camps were organised at Wangusabal, Hautak, and Siden. These camps provided free eye screenings, awareness sessions on glaucoma prevention, and guidance for early detection and treatment, helping to reduce vision-related risks in local communities.
In addition, an awareness programme on No Smoking Day was conducted at Mokie, educating participants on the health hazards of tobacco use and promoting healthier lifestyle choices. Officers emphasised the importance of quitting smoking to prevent long-term health complications.
Through these initiatives, SpearCorps reinforced its commitment to community welfare, preventive healthcare, and public education, bridging the gap between security forces and local populations while fostering health-conscious and informed communities in the Northeast region.
