Tuting Dec 6 – The SpearCorps officially flagged off the 30th leg of the 250 km Great Siang Descent Rafting Expedition, setting off from Ningguing (Tuting) to Pasighat on 5 December 2025. Spanning seven days, the expedition will navigate the mighty Siang River, tackling challenging Grade-4 rapids, before culminating at Pasighat on 11 December 2025.

Fifteen enthusiastic river-rafting participants from across India embarked on this adventure, expressing their gratitude to the #SpearCorps for their tireless service in remote border regions. The expedition not only tests the endurance and skill of the rafters but also highlights Arunachal Pradesh’s scenic rivers and adventure tourism potential.
The Great Siang Descent serves as both a sporting challenge and a tribute to the region’s strategic importance, with the SpearCorps ensuring safety and logistical support throughout the journey. Organizers emphasized that such initiatives foster camaraderie among participants while showcasing the natural beauty and adventure opportunities of India’s northeastern frontier.
