Srinagar, Jan 31: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar, organized a Special Lok Adalat for Criminal Compoundable Cases at the District Court Complex, Mominabad, Srinagar.

The Lok Adalat, aimed at amicably resolving Criminal Compoundable Cases, which was held under the direction of Haq Nawaz Zargar, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Principal District & Sessions Judge) Srinagar, and under the supervision of Sub-judge/ Secretary DLSA Srinagar.
To facilitate the amicable settlement of cases, two benches were constituted for the Lok Adalat. Bench first was headed by Fida Hussain Nayek, Municipal Magistrate Srinagar and Nazia Hassan, 4th Addl. Munsiff Srinagar and bench second was presided over by Junaid Imtiyaz Mir, Sub Judge Srinagar and Vikas Bhardwaj, 2nd Additional Munsiff Srinagar.
A total number of two Cases were taken up by the bench for their amicable settlement and both cases were settled.
