The PDD was asked to ensure uninterrupted power, while PHE was instructed to provide adequate water supply and deploy water tankers at prominent shrines. SMC was tasked with sanitation, streetlight repairs, and measures to control stray dogs around religious sites.
Labroo also emphasized setting up first-aid and medical camps with paramedical staff and ambulances at key locations. Fire and Emergency services were directed to remain on standby throughout the celebrations.
To prevent black marketing and hoarding, Executive Magistrates and Police officers were asked to intensify market checks and ensure essential commodities are sold at standard quality. A joint control room will be established at the DC office to coordinate all efforts for smooth and safe celebrations.
