
The District Srinagar Softball Cricket Association successfully organized the District Softball Cricket Tournament, which concluded today with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Several schools from across the district participated in the event.
In the final standings, Islamic Global School, Jawahar Nagar, emerged as the champion, displaying excellent performance throughout the tournament. Elien Convent School, Chanapora, secured the runner-up position, while Babul Aloom Public School, Budshah Nagar, claimed the second runner-up spot.
The tournament witnessed exciting matches and energetic participation from young players. The medal presentation ceremony was graced by Sheikh Mohammed Shafi, General Secretary of the Jammu & Kashmir Softball Cricket Association; Ms. Sadaf Yousuf, Secretary, Scholars School; Ms. Urooj Qadri, Principal, Islamic Global School; and Mushtaq Bhat, Vice President, Cycling Association.
Towards the end of the event, District Secretary Eidi Gulzar expressed gratitude to all participating schools, officials, and guests. He congratulated the winners—especially Islamic Global School—for their exceptional performance and disciplined conduct throughout the tournament.
