Srinagar, July 26: The Closing Ceremony of the District Srinagar Kudo Championship 2026, organized by the District Srinagar Kudo Association, was held successfully at Birla Open Minds International School, HMT, Srinagar on 16th April 2026. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation and concluded on a high note.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Bilal Ahmad Parray as the Chief Guest. Mr. Sarbaz Sajad- Chairman , District Budgam Kudo Association , Mr. Nabeel Showkat- Chairman, Future X J&K , Mr.Nazir Maqdoomi, and Ms. Maheen Rashid (Director, BOMIS, Srinagar) attended as Special Guests, while Rafeeq Masoodi- Former Additional Director, Doordarshan dditional was present as the Guest of Honour. Several other dignitaries were also present on the occasion, adding prestige and encouragement to the event.
The championship saw active participation of around 400 athletes from various schools, who displayed remarkable talent, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
During the closing ceremony, winners were felicitated with medals and certificates, recognizing their hard work and dedication. The event highlighted the growing popularity of Kudo and its role in promoting physical fitness and character building among youth.
The District Srinagar Kudo Association expressed its sincere gratitude to all the guests, participants, organizers, and supporters for their valuable contribution in making the championship a grand success
