The District Police Srinagar successfully concluded the T-20 Cosco Cricket Tournament today at Radpora Khanyar Stadium, Srinagar. The tournament, which commenced on 11th October 2025, witnessed active participation from sixteen teams comprising eight Civil Teams and eight Police Teams from across District Srinagar.

Finally two teams from each category qualified for the finals. In the Civil category, BCC Batpora (Hazratbal Zone) faced Civil Team North Zone, while in the Police category, DPO Srinagar clashed with DPL Srinagar 1st. Both final matches were played today, at Radpora Khanyar Stadium, and concluded smoothly in the presence of enthusiastic spectators and officials.
In the Police category final, Team DPO Srinagar emerged victorious over Team DPL Srinagar 1st, showcasing excellent coordination and sporting skill. Similarly, in the Civil category, Civil Team North Zone outperformed BCC Batpora in an engaging contest to claim the championship title.
To recognize the outstanding performances, prizes were distributed among the winners and runner-up teams. Both winning teams in the Police and Civil categories were awarded trophies along with a cash prize of ₹25,000 each. The runner-up teams received trophies and a cash prize of 12,000 each. Additionally, the "Man of the Series" from each tournament was felicitate with a trophy and a cash award of 3,000.
J&K Police appreciates the efforts of all participating teams, and the local community for their overwhelming support and cooperation throughout the tournament. The successful conclusion of the T-20 Cosco Cricket Tournament not only provided a platform for young talent but also strengthened the bond between police personnel and the public through the spirit of sports.
