Srinagar, Mar 29:The Jammu & Kashmir Throwball teams participated in the 29th Sub-Junior National Throwball Championship 2025–26 held at Chitradurga, Karnataka from March 27 to 29, 2026. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams delivered commendable and spirited performances throughout the tournament, showcasing talent, teamwork, and determination on the national stage.

The boys’ team comprised Balal Shabir, Suhail Tanveer, Tahir Jaffar, Mansehj Singh, Danyal Ahmed, Gurasees Singh, Umar Abdul Aziz Mir, Toseef Ali Shah, Aqib Ahmed Malik, and Mannatveer Singh. The girls’ team included Aliya Shabnum, Navdeep Kour, Aneesa Kohli, Rukhsana Choudhary, Kawaldeep Kour, Haleema Sadia, Gursimran Kour, Japleen Kour and Sarish Zahier Bhatti.
The teams were guided under the dynamic mentorship of Coach Dhania Sudan and Manager Imtiaz Ahmed, whose dedicated efforts played a key role in the teams’ performance.
Sahil Ali Beigh, Secretary of the J&K 7 Side Throwball Association, Javid Ahmad Lone (President) and Mrs. Raisa Kousar (General Secretary) District Poonch Throwball Association have congratulated both the teams and their support staff for their outstanding participation and efforts, expressing hope for even greater achievements in future competitions.
