Kolkata, Nov 25: As part of the National Integration Tour organised under SpearCorps, a group of students visited iconic landmarks in Kolkata, including Vijay Durg, Victoria Memorial, and the Birla Planetarium.

The visit offered students a unique opportunity to engage with India’s rich cultural heritage, historical achievements, and scientific advancements. At Vijay Durg, they learned about India’s military history and the valor of its armed forces, gaining insights into strategic defense and national security. The Victoria Memorial provided a glimpse into colonial-era architecture and the evolution of India’s cultural and political legacy, while the Birla Planetarium introduced students to the wonders of space science, astronomy, and technological innovation.
Organisers emphasised that such exposure is vital for broadening young minds, fostering national pride, and encouraging interest in science, history, and civic responsibility.
