November 24, 2025 | BK NEWS SERVICE

Assam, Nov 23: As part of the ongoing National Integration Tour organised by Assam Rifles under Spear Corps, students embarked on an educational wildlife safari at the renowned Kaziranga National Park on 21 November 2025. The tour provided them with firsthand exposure to Assam’s rich biodiversity, including sightings of the one-horned rhinoceros, swamp deer, and a variety of migratory birds.

The students also visited the Kaziranga Orchid Park, where they learned about the region’s unique flora, conservation efforts, and the ecological significance of Assam’s natural heritage. The tour aims to combine experiential learning with cultural awareness, allowing students to appreciate both the environmental and cultural richness of the state.
Continuing their journey towards Guwahati, the students gained a deeper understanding of Assam’s traditions, wildlife, and conservation initiatives, strengthening their connection with India’s northeastern heritage. Such initiatives under Operation Sadbhavana promote national integration while fostering awareness and respect for the country’s natural and cultural wealth.
