November 24, 2025 | BK NEWS SERVICE

Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, Nov 23: Students from Meluri recently visited key heritage and national landmarks in Tawang, including the Tawang Monastery, the Giant Buddha Statue, and the Tawang War Memorial, as part of the Seema Darshan Tour organised by the Spear Corps under Operation Sadbhavana.

The tour aimed to provide students with exposure to the rich cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh while instilling values of patriotism and national pride. At the Tawang War Memorial, the students attended an immersive Light and Sound Show, which narrated stories of valor, sacrifice, and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces in defending the nation.
The initiative not only offered students an educational and cultural experience but also strengthened their awareness of India’s border history and the role of the armed forces in safeguarding the country. Officials highlighted that such tours under Operation Sadbhavana are part of broader efforts to foster closer civil-military relations and inspire young minds with lessons of courage, unity, and responsibility towards the nation.
