T20 Cricket tournament concludes in Pulwama

Under the Civic Action Programme (CAP), a Cricket Tournament organized by Police in Pulwama concluded successfully today at Green Park Lelhara, with great fervour and community participation.
Several teams from across the district took part in the tournament, showcasing immense talent and sportsmanship. The final match was played between Rahmoo Young Stars and Young Stars Kakapora, where Young Stars Kakapora emerged victorious after a competitive game.
The closing ceremony was presided over by SSP Pulwama Ms. P.D. Nitya-IPS, who distributed cash prizes and awards to the winning and runner-up teams.
The event also witnessed the presence of Addl. SP Pulwama, DySP DAR Pulwama, SDPO Kakapora, SHO Kakapora, and RI DPL Pulwama, who joined in appreciating the efforts of the participants and organizers.
SSP Pulwama commended the youth for their active involvement and highlighted the importance of sports in building discipline, fitness, and positive community engagement.
Such events reflect the commitment of Police to nurture talent and promote peace, unity, and wellness among the youth of the district.
