
T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Police in Anantnag under the aegis of the Civic Action Programme 2024-2025, concluded today at Sports Stadium, Iqbalpora, Kherity. The tournament commenced on May 15, 2025, and witnessed active participation from sixteen teams representing different areas of District Anantnag.
The final match was contested between RK Constructions Peer Takia, Kokernag, and YCC Kokernag. RK Constructions won the toss and elected to bat first, setting a competitive total of 213 runs for 9 wickets. In response, YCC Kokernag was dismissed for 91 runs in 13.1 overs, resulting in a comprehensive victory for RK Constructions Peer Takia.
The valedictory function was presided over by SHO Police Station Larnoo DySP (Prob) Shri Atti Ur Rehman who presented trophies, medals, and cash prizes to the winning and runner-up teams in recognition of their outstanding performances.
