The journey of The Malang Band began in 2020 with the vision of two friends-Suhail Yousuf and Ubaid. Bound by their shared love for music, they dreamed of creating something extraordinary that would combine soulful melodies with the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir.
Fate intervened at a youth festival organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
There, they crossed paths with other talented musicians who shared their zeal for musical exploration. What started as a casual encounter soon evolved into a powerful artistic bond. Out of this meeting of minds and melodies emerged a five-member collective, united not only by their talent but also by their belief in the transformative power of music.
