
Pahalgam, September 10: A tourist from Madhya Pradesh died after reportedly suffering chest pain in Pahalgam in south Kashmir on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Kashi Kailash Nath, son of Manmohan Nath Sharma, a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
Officials said Nath had arrived in Pahalgam on Wednesday and checked into a hotel for an overnight stay.
On Thursday, he complained of chest pain and was subsequently taken to Sub-District Hospital Pahalgam for medical attention.
However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead, officials said.
