Agartala, Dec 15: Young artists of Agartala, Tripura, showcased their creativity in a painting competition organised by the Spear Corps at the Albert Ekka War Memorial to mark the 54th Vijay Diwas.

The event highlighted the valour and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, while also commemorating the support and resilience of the people of Tripura during the conflict. Students and young participants expressed their respect and gratitude through vibrant artworks depicting heroic deeds, patriotic themes, and moments from the war.
The initiative aimed to instil a sense of history, patriotism, and community pride among the younger generation while reinforcing the significance of Vijay Diwas in India’s military history. Organisers lauded the enthusiasm and talent of the participants and emphasised the importance of remembering the courage of the Indian Army and the contributions of local communities.
