Srinagar, May 22: A suspected motorcycle accident left two unidentified youth critically injured after they were found lying on a roadside near the Women’s Police Station at Rambagh in Srinagar, officials and local sources said.

According to reports, passersby noticed the two injured boys lying on the road in critical condition and alerted emergency services.
The injured were immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
Hospital sources said the condition of both injured youth was critical.
Reports suggest the incident was caused by a motorcycle accident, as a bike believed to be involved in the mishap was found lying near the spot.
They have been identified as Mohammad Sharjeel Mir, 19, of Yadipora Sopore, and Mohammad Ayaan Bhat, 19, of Shahanger Gund Rafiabad
Police were expected to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident and verify whether overspeeding, loss of control or other factors led to the crash.
