The Tyndale-Biscoe and Mallinson Society (TBMS) is set to host the 4th Canon C.E. Tyndale-Biscoe Invitational Football Tournament from September 15 to 21, bringing together school teams from various institutions in a week-long sporting event.
Organisers said the tournament has been designed to encourage young players to showcase their talent in the true spirit of competition, while also instilling values of discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship. Matches will be held at the Tyndale-Biscoe School grounds, where participating teams will compete for the prestigious title.
According to TBMS Administrative Officer and PRO, Aftab Hussain, the annual tournament has emerged as a much-anticipated fixture in the school sports calendar. “This event not only provides a platform for students to demonstrate their footballing skills but also reinforces the importance of holistic development through sports,” he said.
The management has appealed to media organisations to extend their support in covering the tournament, noting that extensive coverage would encourage the players and highlight the role of sports in shaping young lives.
The Canon C.E. Tyndale-Biscoe Invitational Football Tournament, named after the founder of the institution, has over the years attracted strong participation from local schools and continues to grow in stature.
