The UT Government is making efforts to organize sports competitions and provide sports to children at the grassroots levels.The same Youth Services and Sports Department also leaves no stone unturned in providing sports to children.In this regard, under the Supervision of Ghulam Hassan Lone, District Officer of Sports Department Budgam, an Inter Division UT Level Under-17 Volleyball Tournament was Organized on the Synthetic Turf of Boys Higher Secondary School in Beerwah, in which Two teams from Kashmir and Jammu province are participating. It should be noted that Tehsildar Beerwah Aliya Tabasum Inaugurated the tournament as the Chief Guest and urged the Girls to work hard and increase their interest in sports along with their studies.On this occasion, many Senior officials of the department, who Apart from Zpeo Jahan Ara,Physical Lecturer Mudasir Ahmad, Incharge Activity Budgam Ghulam Hassan Khanday and Incharge activity Beerwah Mohammad Yaseen Jan were also present.

Although during the first match, the players of both teams were seen attacking each other fiercely and trying their best to defeat each other. However, in the first match set, the Jammu team defeated the Kashmir province team.It should be noted that all arrangements were made by the department for both the teams including the hostel facilities.
