Although the shortage of staff in the department is visible from afar, the Physical Masters in the department, from REK's & NYCs to zonal level to inter-zonal district level, are at the forefront of activities. On the other hand, the Youth Services Sports Department, Budgam, Organized a Football Tournament under the under-19 Boys Category at the Sports Stadium Charar Sharief, in which players from Six Zones of the district, including Chadoora, Khan Sahib, Dreygam, BK Pora, Charar Sharif and Nagam, are participating and one of these players is a player during the matches in the stadium. They were seen trying their best to take the lead over the others .District Sports Officer Ghulam Hassan Lone inaugurated the tournament as the Chief Guest at the inaugural match of Under-19, while Zonal Physical Officer Jahan Ara and In-charge Sports Activity Ghulam Hassan Khanday were also present on the occasion. The District Officer urged the childrens to ensure their full participation in sports activities, especially Football events, and advised them to stay away from drugs. It is worth noting that in the initial match, Zone Nagam defeated Zone Dreygam by a landslide and qualified for the next round, while various Inter-School to Inter-Zonal Level Competitions are also underway across the District.
