The Inter-Zonal District Level (IZDL) Volleyball Tournament for U17 and U19 boys kicked off with great enthusiasm at HSS Nadihal, hosted under the banner of the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Bandipora. A total of 108 participants from various zones took part in the spirited competition.
Nazir Ahmad Bhat, DYSSO Bandipora, along with the Principal of HSS Nadihal, attended the event as chief guests, inspiring the young athletes to compete with dedication and sportsmanship.
In the U19 category, Zone Sumbal clinched the championship title, while Zone Gurez finished as runners-up.
In the U17 category, Zone Quilmuqam emerged as the winners, with Zone Sumbal securing the runner-up spot.
The tournament was a celebration of youth talent and highlighted the efforts of YS&S Bandipora in promoting sports at the grassroots level.
