The Department of Youth Services and Sports Rajouri proudly inaugurated the Inter-Divisional UT Level Kabaddi Tournament for Under-14 and Under-19 girls, marking a vibrant celebration of athleticism, unity and youth empowerment.

The tournament was declared open in the presence of the Chief Guest Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Malikzada Sheraz Ul Haq and guests of honour Yousaf Lone, Retired District Youth Services and Sports Officer and Station House Officer (SHO) Abid Bukhari.
In a thrilling opening match, Kashmir Division edged past Jammu Division with a narrow victory, scoring 54–52 points.
The Department extended heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour for their inspiring presence, commendation of both divisions and motivational words that uplifted every participant.
The tournament stands as a testament to the growing enthusiasm for girls’ sports in the region and the department’s ongoing efforts to provide inclusive platforms for young athletes to shine.
