Gaya, Sep 5: Lieutenant General Le Van Huong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, attended the pipping ceremony held after the Passing Out Parade at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, congratulating the newly commissioned officers and their proud parents on the momentous occasion.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the journey of the officer cadets as they formally transitioned into commissioned officers of the Indian Army.
During the ceremony, the newly commissioned officers proudly donned the much-awaited stars on their shoulders, symbolising their new responsibilities, leadership roles and commitment to the nation.
The occasion also witnessed the solemn oath-taking ceremony, with the newly commissioned officers pledging to serve the nation with dedication, courage and integrity. The oath marked the beginning of their professional journey as future leaders of the Indian Army.
Lieutenant General Le Van Huong interacted with the newly commissioned officers and congratulated them on successfully completing their rigorous training. He also conveyed his greetings to their parents, whose support and sacrifices played an important role in the cadets’ journey towards becoming military officers.
Addressing the young officers, Lt Gen Huong exhorted them to uphold the highest traditions, values and ethos of the Armed Forces. He urged them to lead by example, maintain professional excellence and discharge their responsibilities with dedication and a strong sense of duty.
He emphasised that leadership in the Armed Forces demands discipline, integrity, courage and an unwavering commitment to the nation. The newly commissioned officers were encouraged to continuously develop their professional skills and remain prepared to meet emerging challenges.
