Akhtar Hussain Hajam, a visually impaired class 10 student of Government High School has scored A1 grades in all subjects.
Akhtar is the resident of Hajin Kralgund area of Handwara and a student of Government High School Sopernaghama area of North Kashmir.
He has secured 453 marks out of 500 with 90%.
Akhtar used a ‘Helper’ and was kept in a separate classroom during the examination.
“I am happy that I kept my self-pride high. Dictating all subjects to the Helper is not an easy task,” the specially-abled Akhtar said.
