Kathua, Oct 8: The Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College Ramkote, in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society (JKACS) and NSS Unit of the college, organized a Volleyball Match for boys here today.

The event was organized under the patronage of the College Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul, who encouraged the participants to develop the qualities of sportsmanship, discipline, team building and promote a message of healthy and fit India.
Through this match students tried to spread the message that sports activities can be game changer in keeping youth away from substance abuse and other activities leading to HIV/AIDS infections.
The match was moderated by IQAC Convener Prof. Pankaj Nandan.
The Principal of the college congratulated the winning team, participants and faculty. Faculty present during the match included Prof.Suresh Chander, Prof Anu Sharma, Prof Vasundra Raje, Krishan Singh and Ankush Kundral.
