White Knight Corps GOC reviews LoC preparedness

Rajouri, Sep 10: Lieutenant General P. K. Mishra, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri to review the operational preparedness of troops and assess the prevailing security situation.
During the visit, the Corps Commander interacted with commanders and troops deployed in forward areas and reviewed their alertness, preparedness and ability to respond effectively to emerging security challenges.
Lieutenant General Mishra was briefed on the prevailing security environment, operational situation, counter-infiltration measures, surveillance arrangements and steps being taken to further strengthen the security architecture along the LoC. The briefing also covered measures to enhance coordination, situational awareness and operational effectiveness.
The GOC emphasised the need to maintain a high state of operational readiness and ensure that security mechanisms remain robust, responsive and adaptable to changing circumstances. He also stressed the importance of continuous training, effective coordination, technological integration and professional excellence.
Appreciating the professionalism, discipline and dedication of the troops serving in difficult terrain and challenging conditions, Lieutenant General Mishra commended their high standards of vigilance and commitment to duty.
He exhorted all ranks to remain steadfast, maintain the highest standards of alertness and remain fully prepared to respond promptly to any emerging challenge.
The visit underscored the White Knight Corps leadership's emphasis on ground-level assessment, troop interaction and continuous strengthening of operational preparedness along the LoC.
The GOC expressed confidence in the troops' ability to meet emerging challenges with courage, discipline and determination, while reaffirming the Corps' commitment to maintaining a robust security posture and contributing to peace and stability in the region
