Widow of AR soldier pays tribute at NWM

New Delhi, Jan 4: In a poignant ceremony at India Gate, New Delhi, Smt Rukama Devi, wife of Subedar Rameshwar Prasad (Late) of Assam Rifles, paid homage to her late husband and other brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The solemn event took place at the National War Memorial, a revered site that honors the valor and dedication of India’s armed forces.

As the next of kin of a fallen soldier, Smt Rukama Devi, fondly referred to as a Veer Nari of Assam Rifles, laid a wreath at the memorial, symbolizing respect, gratitude, and remembrance for the courage and selflessness of those who laid down their lives defending the nation.
