Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial Degree College Bemina organized a workshop on Safer Internet Day as part of Information Security Education and Awareness Project.
The event, themed "Together for a Better Internet," aimed to raise awareness about responsible digital practices and online safety.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Mudasir Afshan emphasized the importance of cyber hygiene, responsible digital engagement, and safeguarding digital identities.
She highlighted how the internet has transformed education and communication while also presenting challenges such as cyber threats, misinformation, and online harassment.
The event featured expert talks and interactive sessions covering digital safety practices, online privacy concerns, and strategies to counter cyber threats. Students actively participated in discussions, gaining valuable insights into secure and responsible internet usage.
The event was attended by faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff of the college.
