A 24-year-old youth sustained critical injuries after a mine blast occurred in the Khundru area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
A police officer said a youth, who is resident of Larnoo, had gone to visit his maternal home at Khundru when he entered the army fencing and was caught in the blast.
The injured youth was immediately evacuated to GMC Anantnag, where his condition is stated to be critical.
Police has taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation.
