The Inter School Zonal level Tournament for Under-14 /17 Girls began today at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Bhaderwah with great excitement and energy, bringing together young talent from across the zone Bhaderwah. The tournament was inaugurated by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunil Kumar Bhutyal in presence of Executive Engineer PWD Rajinder Kumar Principal of the host school Shafayat Ali, ZPEO Vijay Kumar, Lecturers, REKs NYCs, PEMs, PETs and sports lovers were also present at that time.
The tournament organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports would witness competitions in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Athletic, Carrom, Chess, Tug of War, Cricket, Yoga etc.
The tournament aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and the empowerment of young girls through sports. The tournament will continue over for days
The matches are being coordinated by trained officials of the Department of Youth Services & Sports of zone Bhaderwah.
