A top army commander on Wednesday met the Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhawan here, official said
According to an official spokesperson, Lt. Gen. Ranbir Singh, Army Commander, Northern Command, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday.
“Lt Gen. Singh briefed Governor about the overall security situation along the IB, LAC, LoC and hinterland and the anti terrorist operations being conducted by the Army,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
“Governor and the Army Commander also discussed the security arrangements in place for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2019,” the statement added.
