NPP protests at Jantar Mantar on 30th day of Anarchy, Demanding Governor Rule in J&K

National Panthers Party protested at Jantar Mantar (Hyde Park of India) New Delhi yesterday afternoon demanding imposition of Governor Rule in J&K in the national interest and security and safety of national interest in J&K.

Promient NPP leaders including M/s. Prof. Bhim Singh, Rajiv Jolly Khosla, Romesh Khajuria, Ms. Anita Thakur (General Secretary of JKNPP), Anil Kumar Sharma, Ajay Raj, Ch. Ajit Singh, Dildar Hussain Beg, Mehfooz Khan, Balwinder Khosla.

The NPP in a resulotion carried in one voice by the NPP activists urged President of India to intervene under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution read with Section 92 of J&K Constitution which empowers President of India to direct J&K Governor to impose Governor Rule in J& K.

National Panthers Party also condemned the sinking government of J&K for let loose of terror and using draconian laws to suppress and oppress the political activists for taking personal revenge against the political activists of the Panthers Party and other political parties. The resolution condemned the legal and revengeful arrest of Poonch District President of the Panthers Party Mr. Asfaq Rana was detained on 6th August, 2016 at Surankote while he was leading a peace procession in Surankote demanding end of oppression and suppression against the people of Kashmir. Prof.Bhim Singh also urged the Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh last evening and urged his intervention to impose Governor Rule in the state to save the state from further death and destruction.
