Scores of political leaders and activists are languishing at Centure Subsidiary Jail since August 5 when Government of India annulled the special status in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources said authorities shifted PDP leader Muhamamd Ashraf to Bone and Joint Hospital here in Barzulla Srinagar for treatment after he complained of severe pain in his knees. Sources added that he was shifted back to subsidiary jail after treated by doctors.
Authorities have treated a number of political detainees so for at different hospitals who had complained of ailments at the Centaur Subsidiary Jail.(KNT)
