The PM Package employees are protesting in Jammu as well as in Kashmir for last over seven months for their only and genuine demand of relocation/adjustment in Jammu. But the BJP government of centre and their representative in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir - the LG, are overlooking and ignoring the peaceful and democratic protests and it seems that the government of the day is not understanding the language of peace and thus these hapless employees will be forced to come on the roads and adopt aggressive means to attain their right to life which stands torn by the militants on the one hand and by the insensitive government on the other hand. There is no semblance of any normalcy in Kashmir valley as the soft targets are attacked and killed by the gun tottering marauders and the government seems not to be moved by the killings of the minorities as well as by the unfortunate killings of the non local labours. The government has miserably failed to provide protection to the minorities including Pandit package employees and the outside labors with the result all that the members of all these vulnerable groups are killed by the militants with sadistic pleasure while the government is parroting and boasting of fake and false normalcy post August 5, 2019 which is far from truth. There is no normalcy in valley as the soft targets are attacked and even killed in the broad day light and the BJP government is not tired of claiming that they have brought normalcy in Kashmir but in reality and at ground zero there is no normalcy in Kashmir. The false normalcy is only in the television channels which project the false notion of normalcy in Kashmir.

There is persistent and continuous threat to life, limb and honor of the Pandit package employees and thus there is total risk to their precious lives in Kashmir and thus they are unable to perform their duties in such a surcharged environment across Kashmir valley as their members and colleagues were killed in the offices while on their way to offices or schools but the government closes its eyes on such barbaric happenings and remains busy in parroting false theory and narrative of normalcy in Kashmir. While the hard reality is that the situation in Kashmir is not at all normal for the living and working of the package employees. The BJP government is only exploiting the innocent Kashmiri Pandits and has been using them as vote catching machines, selling and marketing the pain and suffering of the Kashmiri Pandits for their cozy chairs and they have no regard for the welfare of these helpless sons of mother India for upholding of which the militants had uprooted the Kashmiri Pandits way back in 1990 and these days the militants are repeating the mayhem of the hay days of the 1990 militancy and thus forcing the residual Pandit minority to leave the valley and make good the dream of cleansing the valley of all Pandits and other Hindu minorities. Thus in such an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty the package employees cannot perform their duties across Kashmir and the government should shift these employees to Jammu temporarily for the time being till the normalcy is restored in Kashmir.
The package employees should not be made sacrificial goats at the altar of the secular democracy of the country and for claiming and showing false normalcy by the powers. There cannot be real normalcy by claiming it day and night rather the government should not be complacent with the fake and false narrative of normalcy but seriously and sincerely work for the normalcy and for this it is important to mount pressure on the militants and eliminate the militancy completely so that the people in general and Pandits in particular will feel a sense of security and peace and will heave a sigh of relief. The government is required to bring normalcy in Kashmir so that the minorities will feel safe and secure and there should be no killings of the minorities in Kashmir and only then we can say that there is normalcy otherwise not.
The package employees cannot perform their duties in Kashmir under the fear of gun and therefore the LG government should order the temporary adjustment of the Package employees in Jammu and attach these hapless employees to the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrants Jammu till the situation becomes conducive for the living and working of the package employees and till the normalcy these employees should not be coerced and pressurized to resume their duties across Kashmir as it is dangerous and risky for their lives and it is akin to playing with the lives of these unfortunate employees .
The BJP government should come down from its false ego and order the temporary shifting of these package employees to Jammu so that their life and honor is saved .But the government seems hell bent to force the package employees to resume their duties across Kashmir only to show their false normalcy. The shifting the package employees to Jammu will not affect the situation in Kashmir and will also not weaken the position of India in Kashmir however it will ensure the safety and security of the package employees. The government should not resort to the pen terrorism against the Pandit Package employees and allow them to perform their duties in Jammu. The BJP government should shun its rigidity and come down from its ego and order the attachment of the package employees to Jammu. The government is withholding the salaries of the package employees who are on strike and it has landed these employees in trouble.
Thus instead of providing some succor to these employees in distress the government is hell bent on compounding their sufferings .The government should order release their salary and ask all the DDO’S not to withheld the salary of the package employees. What is needed is that the government should guarantee the right to life as provided by article-21 of the constitution and this can be done only if the Package employees are shifted to Jammu for the time being so that their life is saved. Thus without any further delay the government should shun their ego and false narrative of normalcy and order the shifting/attachment of the package employees to Jammu .In short the government should wipe the tears from the eyes of the Pandit Package employees and balm their hurt psyche and attach them to RC office Jammu without any delay.
